About our Bed & Breakfast
Welcome to Muskoka Nights Bed and Breakfast, situated on the bank of the Muskoka River directly across from the Lady Muskoka boat cruise, and only minutes away from downtown Bracebridge, "The Heart of Muskoka".
The
beauty of visiting Bracebridge is that there is a bit of everything for
everyone. Whether you're into boating, hiking, golfing, or just lazing
around, Bracebridge has it all. Not only during the summer months, but
winter as well, Bracebridge has plenty to offer: skiing, snow-shoeing,
and snowmobiling. There are many artisans who make Bracebridge and the
surrounding area their home, and each one has something very unique to
offer. Tours are conducted each year for you to come and see these
talented people at work in their studios. When you stay at Muskoka
Nights, you are very close to so many things. We are within walking
distance of the Lady Muskoka boat cruise. This trip meanders along the
river for about 45 minutes heading out to the wide-open wateres of Lake
Muskoka. For those of you who enjoy taking up the paddles, why not
canoe or kayak along the South Branch of the Muskoka River, a stones
throw from our dock. Here you will have the opportunity to see some of
the wildlife that calls the river home during the summer months. We are
also close to some really unique shops and a variety of restaurants
from fine dining to casual fare.
As well, while you are here,
don't forget to visit our neighbours in the Huntsville, Gravenhurst,
and Port Carling areas, and many more wonderful places that make up
Muskoka.
Muskoka Nights is open year round and
offers two guest bedrooms along with a full breakfast. Our house is
very user-friendly, as all the guest facilities are situated on the
main floor, so no stairs to climb. The lounge and dining area are open
concept and have a wonderful view of the Muskoka River. Access to the
garden is also made easy by gradual steps running along both sides of
the house. There is plenty of parking available and for those guests
with canoes or kayaks, we have a small dock available to you. Our
establishment is an air-conditioned, non-smoking environment and
pet-free.
It has always been said "the most important meal of
the day is breakfast", and we couldn't agree more. Our breakfast
includes fresh fruit, cereal, eggs and bacon as well
as fluffy pancakes or French toast drizzled with warm Maple
Syrup. Home-baked muffins and banana bread are also served. Freshly
brewed coffee and a variety of teas will help to make this meal
complete. Breakfast is served in the Dining Room, but when weather
permits, it can also be enjoyed outside on the deck. Breakfast
is normally served between 9 and 9:30am. If
you do require an earlier time please let us know and we will be more
than happy to accommodate you. However, before 8 am a
Continental breakfast will only
be served.
The "Windermere Room" is
the larger of our two guest rooms and has an ensuite washroom.
Contemporary furniture finished in cherry wood tones along with colours
of cream and aquamarine make for a very pleasant and tranquil place to
be. Here you will enjoy the comfort of a pillow-top queen size bed and
hypo-allergenic duvet that is cool in the summer and warm in the
winter. There is a small seating area and this room comes with cable
T.V. The ensuite has a bath with shower and is complete with luxury
towels, spa-quality soaps, and a hairdryer.
The "Algonquin Room", though
not large, is a very cozy bedroom with rustic red and green tones which
makes for a very warm feeling. It has a pillow-top double bed with a
hypo-allergenic duvet. This room has hints of being "in the woods" with
its moose and bear lamp features, and a cardinal tapestry on the wall.
This room also has cable T.V. A three-piece bathroom is located right
next door to the bedroom for use only by the Algonquin Room guests.
Luxury towels and spa-quality soaps are provided along with a hairdryer.
