About our Bed & BreakfastMAKE HILLTOP COTTAGE YOUR MUSKOKA DESTINATION! Enjoy Muskoka at its best in one of our tastefully appointed, 2 person only, private - entry suites where total seclusion awaits you! The CABIN is the guesthouse of Hilltop Cottage. The MUSKOKIN is a separate suite within Hilltop Cottage. Each has two queen bedrooms, private bath and a large sitting, entertainment room. The JAMES suite is located in the walkout level of Hilltop Cottage. It has a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twins, private bath and a very large sitting, entertainment, billiard room with Vermont stove. The suites of Hilltop Cottage are designed to provide a spacious, private atmosphere for one couple only! However, on occasion, your extra guest will be considered for an additional fee. Please inquire about children. Our spacious suites overlook Lake Rosseau and are surrounded by mature trees, numerous decks and perennial gardens. Hilltop Cottage provides the perfect setting for a relaxing, romantic or rejuvenating escape. Read a book on the dock, toast the sunset on the boathouse roof-top deck, challenge your partner to a game of bocce or horseshoes, bring your own boat (complimentary docking) and drop a line or borrow a map and explore the beautiful Muskoka lakes.....whatever you need to unwind! A full breakfast which includes various fresh fruit dishes, homemade muffins or breads, daily specialty entrees such as baby spinach and chevre cheese omlette with grilled back bacon or smoked salmon or trout etc. etc. is served in the main cottage or on the patio, weather permitting. Please tell us if you have any specific likes, dislikes or special dietary needs! Check - in time is after 3:00p.m. and check out by 12:00p.m. Two - night reservations are preferred on weekends. We are open from May to October inclusive. Hilltop Cottage is located 15 minutes from the towns of Rosseau and Windermere, 25 minutes from Bracebridge, Huntsville, Parry Sound and Port Carling and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. We are minutes from Rosseau Lake College, Muskoka Woods, Camp Kwasind , Camp Oochigeas and Camp Ramah. And we are also situated near numerous golf courses, hiking trails, casual and fine dining, artisan’s studios, summer theatre, steamboat cruises..... |

| Cancellation Policy: Deposit by personal cheque is required to secure reservation. Cancellations - no charge with 48 hr notice; otherwise one night charge or 50% of total reservation if the room is not rebooked. | ||||||
