About our Bed & Breakfast
Our waterfront home on a quiet cul-de-sac, offers a comfortable stay on the sandy shore of the Muskoka River. We invite you to take time in life and relax. Come sit out on the porch with Gingerbread trim, or enjoy a view of the river from the deck or dock.
Canoes and pedal boat are free for guests to enjoy. The clean water invites you to swim or you could bring a rod for fishing. The dark Muskoka sky is perfect for star gazing.
In the morning we serve a delicious, full breakfast with mainly locally grown and organic products. Breakfast is in the sunny dining room overlooking the river. Favourites may include artisan breads, homemade granola, preserves, muffins, omega eggs, pancakes soaked in local maple syrup and fresh fruit. Savour Muskoka!
Our pretty River View guestroom is tastefully furnished with antiques, and has an electric woodstove. The room overlooks the Muskoka River and forests, and has a private 4 piece bathroom. It accommodates max. 2 guests. The comfortable Queen bed has a memory foam mattress top. Our cosy Laundry Day room is available only in combination with the River View room, to accommodate 2 couples, or a family of 4. The room is tastefully furnished with memories of days gone by, and has a Queen featherbed. Rate per night /2 rooms $190-,- taxes included. Bathroom will then be shared.
Curl up on the couch by the fireplace in the guest sitting room. For your convenience we have local tourist info, books and maps available. Arrowhead Provincial Park is 6 km away and a 40-minute drive takes you into Algonquin Provincial Park. The Muskoka Heritage Place (Pioneer Village and Steam Train) is just a whistle away. Hiking or biking, downhill- or cross country skiing, tubing or snowboarding, boating or golfing, shopping and dining; it is all within 5 kilometres. Your hosts also speak Dutch, Frisian, German, and some French. Open all year. To secure your reservation we require a credit card. (Visa or MasterCard)

| Directions: From Highway 11 North - Enter Huntsville on Muskoka Road 3 (Main Street). Go to second traffic light and turn right onto Brunel Road. Go 2.7 km to North Mary Lake Road. and turn right. The reflective Gingerbread signs will direct you from there, another 2.5 kms. Turn as directed. From Highway 60 Enter Huntsville on Muskoka Road 3, go past the Mall and McDonalds to the river. Go over the bridge and turn left onto Brunel Road. Go 2.7 km to North Mary Lake Road. and turn right. The Gingerbread signs will direct you from there, another 2.5 kms. Turn as directed. | ||||||
