About our Bed & BreakfastCASTAWAYS B & B is a well known property in Gravenhurst. The old doctor's residence is an architecturally significant house with spacious rooms located on a private wooded lot close to downtown. A short stroll will take you to the shops, restaurants, historic Opera House, music 'On the Barge' at Gull Lake Park or down to Sagamo Park where you can explore the new waterfront and board the 'Segwun' steamship. Choose one of our two luxurious guest rooms. Each room is appointed with superior quality linens, individual air conditioning with remote control and a bath robe. Our 'MEXICAN SUITE' has a private sitting room and your own private balcony overlooking the gardens. The ensuite bath features a clawfoot slipper tub for you to luxuriate in. Cable TV in room. The 'CAPTAINS QUARTERS' has a king size bed, pull-out couch and a TV/VCR with a wide variety of video tapes for your in-room enjoyment. | Directions: Take Hwy #11 to Gravenhurst. Exit on Hwy#69 (Bethune Drive). Follow Bethune Drive to the traffic lights. Turn left and go across the tracks to First Street. | Cancellation Policy: A deposit of one night's stay is required to secure your reservation (50% of the total for stays of three nights or longer). The balance is due upon check-in. Reservations must be cancelled at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Your advance payment will be refunded if we can re-rent your room.
