Built into a hill overlooking beautiful Bracebridge Bay and Falls and surrounded by award winning perennial gardens, Bay House affords both the convenience of a "town" location and the beauty and serenity of a country retreat. Originally a Muskoka Cottage built in the late 1800's, Bay House has been tastefully renovated into a 5000 square foot light and airy home. Floor to ceiling windows face Bracebridge Bay and the Muskoka River. Interesting art work and artifacts from all over the world create a distinctive and eclectic atmosphere in which to spend a few days of relaxation. Take a stroll down by the river to view both sets of falls or walk into town to do a little shopping. Sit in the outdoor hot tub admiring the view of the falls - summer or winter! Or, get some exercise in the table tennis, pool and games room. Enjoy a delicious dinner in one of Bracebridge's fine restaurants, only steps away, then return to your room, sip a glass of complimentary sherry, nibble on a chocolate, snuggle down and watch one of the many movies provided for you! A gourmet hot breakfast awaits you. Our accommodation has been designed with your absolute comfort in mind. Each room has TV/VCR's, bathrobes, hairdryer, coffee maker, kettle and complimentary sherry and chocolates. The BAY SUITE is a large, sunny room with four poster queen bed with down duvet. Its spacious sitting area, with formal electric fire, is a relaxing place to view beautiful Bracebridge Bay and surrounding woodland. The extra large bathroom has a two person Jacuzzi and separate shower. $168 double occupancy. No tax. The GARDEN ROOM is a sunny "L" shaped room with ensuite Jacuzzi bathroom. Sliding doors open from the sitting room to a private garden patio overlooking fine perennial gardens and Bracebridge Bay. Queen bed with down duvet $145.00 double occupancy. No tax. The BAY VIEW is an "L" shaped sunny room with a view of the Bay and gardens. It has a double bed with down duvet and cosy sitting area. Private four piece bathroom. $125.00 double occupancy. No tax. Breakfast is served in the "Sun Room" overlooking the Bay. Feast on Fresh Fruit and Ginger, Scottish Oatmeal with Whiskey Cream or Cranberry & Walnut Granola with homemade Yoghurt. Your next course is a choice of Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Wild Blueberry & Cream Cheese Bake; Honey, Walnut & Orange French Toast, Bay House Eggs Benedict or a Traditional English Breakfast. | Directions: From the South take Hwy 400 north to Hwy 11. After passing Muskoka Airport, take first Bracebridge turnoff 118 west (left). Drive about 5.5 km to first set of lights. Turn right on Ecclestone Drive, along river to Falls Silver Bridge. Over bridge, turn left at four way stop to Ontario St. Top of hill turn left to Dominion St. Through Inn at the Falls gate. Bay House is at bottom right, across from Inn at the Falls - white gates, blue sign. From the North take Taylor Road exit until you come to a "T" junction in the middle of town. Turn left onto Manitoba Street. At four way stop turn right onto Ontario St. At top of hill turn left onto Dominion St. into Inn at the Falls gate. Bay House is at the bottom right.
